Refund policy

We want you to love your new straw handbag as much as we loved creating it. If for any reason it’s not quite right, here’s how we handle returns:

Return Window

  • You may return your handbag within 14 days of receiving it.

  • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and packaged securely for the journey back.

Exchanges
Prefer a different style or color? Let us know β€” we’ll happily arrange an exchange, subject to stock availability.

How to Return

  1. Send us a quick message at hello@lamoderattan.com

  2. We’ll share the return instructions and shipping address.

  3. Once we receive and inspect your item, we’ll process your refund or exchange.

Return Shipping

  • Customers cover the return shipping cost (we keep things transparent here 🌱).

  • If the return is due to our mistake (wrong item or damaged product), we’ll of course cover all costs.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • Depending on your bank, it may take a little extra time to appear in your account.

Handcrafted Note
Since our handbags are handmade from natural straw, each piece is beautifully unique. Slight variations in color or texture aren’t flaws β€” they’re part of the charm.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
